About

I’m Tas, Nice to Meet You!

I’ve been married to the world’s greatest partner in crime for almost 9 years.

I’m a homeschooling mom of three.

I spend as much time outside as I can when the weather is nice. I grew up in the dessert. A lot of people find that beautiful, I am not one of those people. I now live in the gorgeous green state of Arkansas, and every spring when the tress regrow their leave, my heart swells.

I love french fries. Hardcore. If you want to have a passionate conversation about something, let’s discuss where you can find the best (and worst) french fries.

This is Gardner Lane.

Thanks to my story loving daughter, I’ve discovered that looking back on the past can make some pretty wonderful moments. She asks regularly to hear about my childhood and loves to read stories from our family history.

Sometimes I wish I could just take her into my childhood world and show her where I built my clubhouses, my best friend’s house, the park I used to play at. That’s why I decided to illustrate maps. To treasure those memories and share them with our loved ones.

On the flip side, I’m a big goal setter. I love affirmations and working towards something.

I also believe that when we see our goals regularly, we are more likely to accomplish them.

But how can you see your goals?

That’s where I come in. That’s why I illustrate dream boards and bucket lists. So you can visualize where you want to go and then get there.

Cherish the past, look to the future!

hey there

I'm Tas - Wifey, mama of three, french fry addict, and lover of art making.

Gardner Lane is the place where I keep all the magical, whimsical creations I've taken from my head and put on paper.

Stick around as I write a novel full of adventure and charm.

So my phrase for 2023 is “less chaos, more calm.”

It’s a real 🚢 show at our house this week. We It’s a real 🚢 show at our house this week. We just got over the stomach flu Wednesday, and now my kid has a fever and a cough. I won’t share the washing machine saga. That’s another story.

But I needed a break. So I spent the better part of the afternoon doing this and ignoring everything else while my kids slept and watched TV.

Never done a #DTIYS before, believe it or not! So this was pretty fun. Thanks @colourlime for the challenge.
